Meet the people that run this place
Jeff Heerspink
Jeff grew up in Lynden, WA. After graduating from Lynden Christian High School, he attended Utah State University for the one year herdsman degree. While back on the farm Jeff felt the call to surrender to Christ and to go into ministry. He went to work for a summer camp ministry, and then did an internship with Jeff Vanderstelt at Seattle CRC. It was there that he met the love of his life Beth. He also became the Youth Pastor at Seattle CRC and was there 5 years before he and Beth attended Moody Bible Institute.
While at Moody Bible Institute, Beth received her degree in communication, and Jeff received his degree in Family Ministry. Upon completing his degree, Jeff and Beth moved to Lincoln, NE to fulfill an internship requirement for Jeff. They served at the NL for the summer of 2004. It was during that time that Jeff fell in love with the NL ministry. After completing their time in school, Jeff and Beth moved to Lincoln and started to work part time at the NL.
Today, Jeff oversees the ministry at the NL working with the leadership team, preaching and overseeing the ministry teams.
Jeff also works with the development of a cluster of churches in Lincoln. The goal is to develop a network of pastors that advance the Kingdom of God by starting new ministries and planting new churches in Lincoln and beyond.
Jeff also spends part of his time working with CRC Home Missions West Central regional team as a cluster developer and a coach for new church planters.
Jeff and Beth enjoy living in Lincoln with their family. Currently they have three kids: Abigail, Josiah and Caleb.
