Meet the people that run this place
David Best
David joined the US Air Force right after high school where he was trained in imagery intelligence. While serving at Offutt AFB he earned a BS in Organizational Communication at Bellevue University. During this time he was very involved with the Navigators, an international parachurch ministry. He met and married Joey in December of 03', and in the fall of 04' they moved to Pasadena California, where David attended Fuller Seminary. Nicholas came along in September of 06', which brought them back to La Crosse. In the fall of 07' God connected them with the Northern Lighthouse, Oasis' sister church, with the understanding that they would be a part of planting a church when the time came. That time is now, and they are very excited to be a part of what God is doing in Waverly!
He is married to Joey, and together they have a son named Nicholas. They are originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin.
David enjoys his family, movies, card games, sports like ultimate frisbee, Green Bay Packers football, and a good beer. Check out his blog here.
